David Hottman

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hottman has 30+ years of experience in corporate finance and management of resource companies.  David was a founder of Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd. serving as Chairman, CEO or President from 1997 to 2007. Nevada Pacific Gold proved to be a great success as an aggressive gold and silver production/exploration company focused in Nevada, USA and Mexico prior to a $150 million takeover by McEwen Mining Inc. (NYSE) in March 2007. Before starting Nevada Pacific, David was a founding team member of Eldorado Gold Corporation, a company focused on gold production/exploration assets in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Turkey. Prior to Eldorado Gold he worked with Bema Gold Corporation. Mr. Hottman has been actively involved in financing mining companies for several decades securing over $300 million for acquisition, exploration, development and production companies.

Bruce Winfield

President

Mr. Bruce Winfield, M.Sc., P.Geo, has more than 40 years of experience in the minerals industry as a geologist, corporate executive and consultant. Following 14 years with major mining companies Texasgulf Inc. and Boliden Inc., he held the position of VP Exploration for Greenstone Resources and Eldorado Gold Corporation leading to the exploration and development of five gold deposits. Subsequently as President and or CEO he has led companies exploring primarily in South America for the last twenty years.

Mark T. Brown, B. Comm. CPA, CA

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Brown is the President of Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd., headquartered in Vancouver B.C.  Pacific Opportunity is a financial consulting and merchant banking firm active in venture capital markets in North America. Mr. Brown brings over 35 years of executive management experience in the mining sector to his role with the company. His corporate activities include merger and acquisition transactions, financing, strategic corporate planning, and corporate development.   

After completing his Chartered Accountant designation at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Brown managed the financial departments of TSX listed Miramar Mining Ltd., which was later sold to Newmont Mining for $1.4 billion, and TSX listed Eldorado Gold Corp., both large gold producers.  In 1999, he co-founded Rare Element Resources Ltd., that grew to a valuation of well over $500 million during his tenure.  Nevada Pacific Gold was sold to McEwen Mining while Mr. Brown was the CFO.  He also founded Animas Resources Ltd. which acquired the Santa Gertrudis Gold Project in Mexico, and subsequently sold the company to GoGold Resources Inc.  He was involved with the sale of Pitchstone Exploration Ltd. to Fission Uranium Corp. as CFO and Director. Mr. Brown was the financial director of Almaden Minerals Ltd., and became a director of Almadex Resources after the spin-out completed to allow Almaden to focus on the multi-million ounce gold discovery at their Tuligtic Project in Mexico.  Mr. Brown is the Chairman of Avrupa Minerals Ltd, which has made gold and base metals discoveries in Kosovo and Portugal, and Silver North Resources Ltd. which is advancing two silver exploration projects in the Yukon.  He currently serves as a director and/or officer of various other public companies including being Chair of Mineral and Financial Investments Ltd. listed in the UK.

Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and qualified as a Chartered Public Accountant in 1993. Mr. Brown also sits on the Board of two private schools in Vancouver and is involved in raising funding for capital projects for the schools.
