May 26, 2008

TSX-V: ORS May 26, 2008 - Orestone has acquired a 100% interest in 11 mineral claims adjacent to two areas on its Captain Property that are actively being explored for Cu-Au porphyry deposits. The claims comprise 3,398 hectares and were purchased from private parties for $3,000 plus 20,000 common shares of Orestone. The issuance of the common shares is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange and will be subject to a four-month hold period. Including the newly-acquired claims, the Captain property now covers approximately 31,000 hectares.

Orestone plans to conduct additional IP, magnetic, geochemical and geological surveys in several higher-priority target areas during June-July 2008, to be followed by additional diamond drilling in October-November 2008. The June-July surveys are budgeted at $150,000 and the fall drilling at $650,000. Completion of planned drilling is subject to raising additional funds.
